Ep. 1: The Outliers Study RELEASED!
This debut episode of the Outliers in Education podcast corresponds with the release of some groundbreaking new research known as the Outlier Study from the Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE). A team of researchers spent nearly three years identifying and codifying the characteristics of schools that far exceed expectations when it comes to serving students of color or those experiencing poverty. In this episode we talk with three of the authors of this landmark study - Dr. John Steach, Dr. Gene Sharratt and Erich Bolz - for a first look at the remarkable findings about what makes some schools soar where so many others may struggle.
